Social Context

Social Context is one of the seven primary social determinants of health. UNC Charlotte’s Academy of Research on Community Health Engagement and Services (ARCHES) is the lead partner organization to this social determinant. ARCHES is dedicated to improving health in vulnerable communities. The organization includes a group of researchers from many different backgrounds and specialties. The focus of this determinant is social integration and support systems in University City.
