Pat has always been a prolific community leader, and an advocate for building social capital. For last 20 years, Pat has been involved, developed and lead community building initiatives across Charlotte, especially within the City area. Capitalizing on her talent and ability, she was asked to join Collective Impact Group “UCity Family Zone” and head the engagement or social capitalcomponent of the project. Her focus is on facilitating the growth of community participation and activism.
Pat believes that its through higher-level of collaboration and community engagement that we can transform an area. Her program “A Game Plan for Life©” addresses real and perceived inequities, increases cultural awareness, provides leadership skills, facilitate avenues of positive change, and promotes community engagement. With her team, this program serves to build connections that work to decrease the feeling of isolation to promote well-being and ignite an individual’s sense of being valued. Leadership and emotional intelligence development, serve as tools to self-understanding to reduce chaos in an individual’s life. Pat believes in servant leadership and motivating the heart, so we

Pat Martinez is the owner of a privately-owned management consulting firm Leadership in the Clouds™. This boutique firm provides businesses and individuals with the tools to succeed in today’s fast-paced world. She established a national non-profit organization, National Council for Leadership, as a collaborating organization working to transform lives through comprehensive leadership development.
